It was raining that morning. I was guiding 16 guests on the safari. As soon as we entered the forest, the rain stopped. I could then sense the strong stench of a carcasss. Nagarhole National Park is home to four species of deer. The smallest one is the Mouse Deer, and the largest the Sambar deer. In between, we have the Spotted Deer (Chital) and the Barking Deer (Muntjac).
